Norma Williams

Norma (Hartnett) Williams went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2008 at the age of 84. Norma was the daughter of Martin and Myrtle Hartnett who preceded her in death. She was married to James B. Williams on December 6, 1945, who passed away in 1994. Norma is survived by her brother Gerald Hartnett and her three children; Judy and husband Tracy Algrim, Wichita, Ks., Janet and husband Steve McCoy, Napa, CA, Jim and wife Gale Williams, Stafford, Ks.. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy. Norma lived most of her life in Stafford. She graduated from Stafford High School and St. Elizabeth Mercy Hospital Nursing Program. She was a Registered Nurse at Stafford Hospital for 35 years. She was active in the community, serving as a Girl Scout leader and as a member of the Zenith Presbyterian Church, the Mamie Volker Missionary Society, the VFW Auxiliary, BPW, the Historical Society and the Leisure Homestead Board.
