Muriel Miller

SYLVIA - Muriel J. Miller, 84, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor, Sterling. Born December 1, 1925 at Hope, Kansas she was the daughter of Meryl and Lillie E. Book Speer. She was an elementary teacher and was a member of the United Methodist Church, Sylvia. On March 4, 1962 she married Henry Allen Miller at Gt. Bend. He survives. She is also survived by four sisters: Maurine Georgiades of Altadena, CA., Audrey Kessler of Buhler, Elaine Robson of Buhler and Sharon Grove of Broken Arrow, OK.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with Pastor Steve Gill and Rev. Harry Graves presiding. Burial will be at the Peace Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 p.m. at Minnis Chapel. Memorials may be sent to the Hospice of Reno County or Sylvia United Methodist Church, both in care of the chapel.
