Jeffery Allen

STAFFORD - Jeffery Michael Allen (37) of Stafford died on August 18th, 2011, in El Paso Texas. Jeff was born on August 4th, 1974, in Stafford, Kansas to Keith and Mary (Staub) Allen. Jeff attended Stafford High School, Hutchinson Community College, and Beloit Area Technical School where he learned heavy equipment operation. Jeff joined the Army in 1996 where he served for almost 15 years. Jeff served overseas in Korea for 18 months and in Kirkuk, Iraq for 15 months. While in the Army, Jeff met Amber Kingsbury and they were married on February 27, 2004. Jeff and Amber have 3 children; Mary, age 7, Morgan, age 5, and Maya, age 2.
Jeff is survived by his wife and children; his parents Mary Fatzer of St. John; Keith Allen of Stafford; sister Kim and her husband Tony Helfrich of Pratt; brothers Joe Allen and his wife Anastasia of Inman and Klay Allen and his wife Amy of Houston, Texas and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who loved Jeff very much.
Jeff loved to spend time with his three girls and hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed exercising and was very proud of maxing the PT test even over age 30. Jeff enjoyed working on cars and K-State athletics.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, Stafford with Rev. Amy Slater presiding. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 2-7 p.m. at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Memorials may be dedicated to the children’s education in care of the chapel.
