Evelyn M. Dye

STAFFORD - Evelyn M. Dye, 91, died August 10, 2011 at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford. Born July 18, 1920 in Rural Stafford she was the daughter of Ernest and Martha Brehmer Budde. She was a longtime waitress for the Curtis Cafe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, V.F.W. and American Legion Women's Auxillaries and the Eulah Essex Bible Study group. On June 28, 1947 she married Herbert B. Dye at Stafford. He died February 21, 2005. She is survived by her sons - Dennis and Tim both of Stafford, sister - Dorothy Suiter of Warsaw, MO. Two granddaughters - Kim and Erin and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 15 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with Rev. Marvin Alley presiding. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church in care of the chapel.
