Tyler Farney

STAFFORD - Tyler Jay Farney, 51, died Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford, Kansas. Born December 24, 1957, at Sterling he was the son of Robert and Lavonne Zimmerman Farney. He was a Sr. Vice President at Farmer's National Bank of Stafford. He was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Stafford, serving in many different leadership roles. On December 19, 1981, he married Keva Whitehouse at Stafford. She survives. Sons: Wyatt Farney and his wife Laurel of Newton. Yance Farney and his fiance Elaine Enix of Stillwater, OK. Parents: Bob and Lavonne Farney of Sterling. Brother: Jack Farney of Sterling. Sister: Gayle Fehr of Buffalo, MN. Grandson: Preston Farney. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Marshay Marie.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church, Stafford, with Pastor Jim Dillon presiding. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-6 p.m. with the family receiving friends Tuesday 4-6 p.m. at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church or as a Love Gift to the family, both in care of the chapel.
