Sharon Kay Hall

SYLVIA - Sharon Kay Hall, 62, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at her home in Sylvia. Born July 10, 1948 at Stafford she was the daughter of William Otis and Maude Ann Detty Harris. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Ellinwood District Hospital. She was a member of the Plevna Community Bible Church, Hutchinson Iris Club, was an EMT for Trails West E.M.S., and was a volunteer for the Reno County Fire Dist. #6 for many years. On January 11, 1980 she married Henry H. Hall, Jr. at Hesston. He survives. Other survivors include:
Son - David Hall and Rhonda of Houston. Daughters - Angela Schaefer and Patrick of Cincinnati, OH., Amy Schoenecker of Arlington, KS., and Becky Burns and Jerry of Plevna. Brother - Ken Harris of Lenexa. Sisters - Billye Brennan of Sylvia and Peggy Long of Hutchinson. Father and Mother-in-law - Henry Hall Sr., and Naomi of Sylvia. Sixteen grandchildren. One great grandson. She was preceded in death by son - Daniel, daughter - Amber, parents, brother - Harold Harris, sister - Nellye Drake.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2011 at Plevna Community Bible Church with Pastor David Green presiding. Burial will be at the Sylvia Cemetery. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Memorials may be sent to the Plevna Community Bible Church, Trails West E.M.S. or Ellinwood Hospital Auxillary all in care of the chapel.
