Lester Frisbie

ZENITH - Lester Frisbie, 98, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Stafford County Hospital. Born in 1911 at Stafford County, Kansas he was the son Walter S. and Viola Dolan Frisbie. He was a Zenith resident most of his life. He was a fuel truck driver for 40 years for the Zenith COOP. He was a member of the Zenith Community Church and the Spit & Whittle Club. On July 19, 1934 he married Lettie L. Browning at Ensign. She died April 1, 1984. In October, 1986 he then marriedVerda Chiles in Hutchinson. She died December 18, 2004. He is survived by:
Son: Gene Frisbie and his wife Patricia of Granbury, TX
Daughter: Lesta Bauer and her husband John of Granbury, TX
Daughter-in-law: Carol Frisbie of Lyons.
Ten grandchildren. 17 great grandchildren. Ten great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Larry, sister: Ruth Kennedy, brother: Everett and a granddaughter: Rhonda Brock.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 1-6 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be sent to the Stafford Senior Center or Sylvia Senior Center in care of the chapel.
