Jean Ragsdale

STAFORD – Jean Ragsdale, 87, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Leisure Homestead, Stafford. Born July 10, 1922 at Zenith she was the daughter of Ray and Nellie Volker Henry. She was a resident of the Stafford area for most of her life and was a retired officer of Farmer's National Bank, Stafford. She was a member of the Stafford Presbyterian Church and was a past member of the Leisure Homestead Board of Directors. On September 26, 1942 she married Glenn "Bud" Ragsdale at Neosho, MO. He survives. Other survivors:
DAUGHTERS: Glenda Hildebrand of Stafford. Jenni Koger of Ames, Iowa. Jill Flory of Lawrence.
Nine grandchildren.
Six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Rex.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with Pastor Jeff Lowther presiding. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Leisure Homestead in care of the chapel.
