WICHITA - Franklin Marcus “Marc” Suedekum, 66. Died on October 28, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce, brother Marvin Suedekum, stepchildren Frank Welton, Tammy Welton, Teresa Welton-Sanders, Jason Welton, Amanda Thawley, grandchildren Thomas, Jack, Tiffani, Colleen, Shelby, Rowan, Gillian, Sarah. Funeral service will be 2:00 Friday at Minnis Chapel in Stafford, Kansas. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery.Born September 12, 1942 in Stafford the son of Orral and Ella Suedekum. He was raised in Stafford, served in the Air Force while stationed in Europe and was a longtime Wichita resident. He was an engineer at Boeing, Learjet and did contract work for various companies in Kansas and California. On October 19, 1972 he married Joyce Welton. He enjoyed photography, politics and being a grandfather.
