Arlene Sittner

HUDSON - Arlene K. "Hett" Sittner, 70, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. Born February 27, 1941 at Marion she was the daughter of Homer and Wilma Bowers Hett. She was a graduate of Westmar College and received her Master's Degree from K.S.U. She was a Home Ec. teacher and was the church secretary for Peace Church and Trinity Community Church, both of Hudson. She was an active member of the Peace Church. On July 21, 1972 she married Marvin Sittner at Marion. He survives. Other survivors include: Brother - Warren Hett and his wife Marilyn of Dighton. Sister - Ruth Snodgrass of Santa Barbara, CA. Brother-in-law - Larry Sittner and his wife Glenda of Hudson. Sister-in-law- Marilyn Fesler of Plevna. Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 1 at the Peace Church, 492 NE 140th St., Hudson, KS with Pastor Wade Russell presiding. Burial will be at Peace Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 1-8 p.m. at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with the family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the Peace Church in care of the chapel.
