HUTCHINSON – Anna Mae Piepmeier, 75, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Hospice House, Hutchinson. Born April 12, 1936 at Lewis she was the daughter of Leo Golden and Anna Delcine Binhack Strawn. She was a receptionist for the Edwards County Hospital - Midway Clinic and Cross Manufacturing. She was a member of the Lewis United Methodist Church, South Hutchinson United Methodist Church and Friends in Christ. On March 10, 1957 she married Charles "George" McClaren at Lewis. He died Nov. 11, 1985. She then married Gerald Piepmeier July 12, 1986 at Lewis. She is survived by her husband - Gerald of Hutchinson. Daughters - Debra Ann Mitzner and her husband Steve of Sylvia. Sheila Denise Hornback and her husband Alan of Minneola. Sister - Thelma Stade of Gross Valley, CA. Sister-in-law - Enola Gish of Baldwin City. Grandchildren - Katrina Combs and her husband Jim, Shala Metzger and her husband Ray, Charlie Hornback and his wife Hillary, Chelsey Hornback and her fiance Brad Crump. Great-grandchildren - Karly and Chase Combs, Dylan and Tagan Metzger. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11:00 a..m., Saturday, May 28 at the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Ault-Duell presiding. Casual dress is requested. Burial of the ashes will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28 at the Wayne Township Cemetery, Lewis, Kansas. Minnis Chapel, Stafford is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials sent to the So. Hutchinson United Methodist Church in care of the chapel.
