Alice Oneita Dickson

STAFFORD - Alice Oneita Dickson, 83, died November 14, 2010 in Stafford. She was born January 27, 1928 at rural Penalosa, the daughter of Bert Allen and Myrl Alice Schweizer Combs. She was a graduate of Langdon High School and Adela Hale Business School of Hutchinson. She was a farmer's wife, worked in the meat department at Mammel's and was a real estate agent for Double H Auction. She was a member of the Friends Church and First Christian Church, both at Stafford. On December 28, 1947 she married Willard Ray Dickson at Stafford. He died June 4, 2002. She is survived by her sons: Rodney Dickson and his wife Kua, Jaye Dickson and his wife Denise and Edwin Dickson and his wife Jane all of Stafford. Daughter: Alice Pettijohn and her husband Greg of Stafford. Brothers: Edward Combs of Burrton and J.D. Combs of Hutchinson. Sister: Judy Hostetler of Inman. 10 grandchildren. 15 great grandchildren. One great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by brothers: Virgil, Myrl Frances and Marion. Sister: Juanita Ransom.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with Rev. Paul Porter presiding. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 1-7 p.m. at the chapel. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be sent to the Stafford Education Foundation in care of Minnis Chapel, Stafford.
