Dorothy Edsall

STAFFORD - Dorothy M. Edsall, 86, passed from this earth on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Leisure Homestead, Stafford. Born March 23, 1924 at Augusta, Kansas the daughter of Buford and Anna B. Pickrell Whitlock. On August 24, 1942 she married John R. Edsall at Pensacola, FL. After WWII, Dorothy and John moved to southern California for six years, returning to Stafford in 1954.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stafford. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Stafford Golf Club, Park Hills Golf Club of Pratt and The Highlands Golf Club of Hutchinson. She enjoyed the game of duplicate bridge and spectator sports of all kinds.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, and a daughter Ann Randle of Norman, OK.
She is survived by a daughter, Kaye Christman of La Center, WA, five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sepember 28, 2010 at Stafford Cemetery with Rev. Amy Slater presiding. Minnis Chapel, Stafford is in charge of arrangements.
